Junior & Senior Infants are investigating what a seed needs to grow. Today we all planted our own cress seeds. We used yogurt pots into which we put some cotton wool, which acts as soil. We added our cress seeds and watered them. We placed them on the window sill. We also planted to test pots to see what seeds need to grow. We added water to one pot but placed it in a dark press out of the sunlight and the second pot we put on the window sill but we didn't water it. We will check the pots everyday to see the progress.
