As part of our Creative Schools work, 4th , 5th and 6th class began their Crankie Box Workskhop today with artist Peter Crann. The children were guided through the planning and creative construction of this vintage story-telling device called a “Crankie Box”, where the children will collectively illustrate a scroll of paper between 3-5 meters long , that is then rolled through a specially constructed box to view along with some music chosen by the children.
Lots of fun was had and we look forward to tomorrow to see the artists at work again and the final stages of work!.
